Runco is again expanding its PlasmaWall™ product line with the addition of the new XP-OPAL50 DHD, a 50-inch display that combines Runco’s proprietary OPAL™ enhancement technology and legendary DHD™ Controller/Processor. The result is flawless video that creates an amazing experience.

The XP-OPAL50 DHD elevates image quality to the highest level. Additional engineering enhancements include sophisticated 16-bit digital video processing resulting in 4096 steps of graduation for seamless images, and Runco’s amazing OPAL image enhancement technology that provides reduction of surface light reflections for a distraction-free viewing experience, increased black levels and contrast ratio to provide reference-level video, the widest viewing angle possible in flat-panel technology and the highest level of accurate color reproduction within flat panels.

This new model features Runco’s venerable VirtualWide™ aspect ratio mode for viewing 4:3 content in widescreen without appreciable picture degradation, as well as ISF™ calibration modes for optimum viewing under diverse lighting conditions.
