The VX-1000d is the current generation of our most successful projector ever, which began several years ago with the original VX-1000c. Each successive model has incorporated more advanced technology and the VX-1000d has it all, driven by our most advanced SuperOnyx™ light engine to date. The companion DHD Controller features the latest digital video processing and scaling and is the same unit supplied with our most expensive systems.
This package represents a unique and outstanding value, capable of bringing superb image reproduction to the finest home theater and home cinema systems. The Platinum VX-1000d is available with our exclusive CineWide™* option, bringing 2.35:1 CinemaScope™ films to your home with no useless black bars above and below the picture. The entire screen height is filled with the movie, just as the director intended. This results in maximum resolution and brightness because every pixel on the digital imaging chip is used to produce the images and nothing is wasted.
