Runco Debuts Ultra Cinematic Performance For Reflection Series™
Reflection Series Portfolio Expands to Offer More Installation Solutions
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — February 1, 2006 — Runco International, the world leader in high-end home theater video display technology, continues their tradition of maximizing performance of its products with the addition of the CL-810Ultra to their highly acclaimed Reflection™ Series of DLP projectors. Based on the recently developed CL-810 chassis, the new Ultra designation reflects the ultimate expression of performance and installation versatility that can be found in the expansive Reflection™ Series portfolio.
“Our ongoing design efforts at combining superior video performance, along with innovative installation solutions for our dealers, has been fully realized with the introduction of the CL-810Ultra projector,” said Bob Hana, president of Runco International. “This latest addition to our Reflection™ Series, thanks in part to the highly adaptive lens package, has an incredible range of throw distances and lens shift allowances so it can be placed in a lot of environments that other DLP projectors just can’t perform in. More people will be able to enjoy the Runco cinematic experience thanks to the success our engineers have realized with this advanced DLP projector.”
At the heart of the Ultra designation, is an advanced software and optical package that is available only with the CL-810 Ultra projector. This not only improves picture clarity and color saturation thanks to its superior lens quality, but also allows for a greater range of throw distances and has a more flexible horizontal and vertical shift range that installers will be able to utilize in difficult installation environments.
The CL-810Ultra will also be able to accept Runco’s exclusive CineWide™ and CineWide with AutoScope™ technology. The CineWide™ feature allows Runco projectors to utilize the full capability of their DMD chips, displaying movies formatted in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with increased resolution and brightness.
