Engineered with ISF™ calibration standards for the purest video performance, the CX-OPAL55 flat-panel LCD features advanced TFT active-matrix LCDs and includes Runco's discrete aspect ratio control with VirtualWide™ mode to fill the 16:9 screen with standard 4:3 images without loss of picture quality. Also included are discrete source, aspect ratio and power selection and an RS-232 interface for whole-house or automated control system integration.

Runco's exclusive OPAL image enhancement technology, which makes Runco 1080p LCD even more stunning in rooms with lots of light, creates an exceptional image by diminishing diffused reflections to avoid uneven and scattered light that can cause soft-looking images in high ambient light.
