CEDIA came to a beautiful crescendo on Saturday night at the Awards Banquet. They announced the LifeStyle Award Winners and it was a pleasure and privilege to have Runco’s new 3Dimension Series D-73d product named “New Product of the Year” and the only video product recognized.

When we heard the announcement, Adam Schmidt and I went on stage to accept the award from Maureen Jenson, the Editor-in-Chief of CustomRetailer Magazine then we were whisked backstage for a photo shoot and video interviews. When we returned to the hall to the congratulations of customers, partners, and colleagues, it truly was a sweet sound!

To have our approach to 3D recognized by the industry is quite an honor. Constant Stereoscopic Video™ (CSV) 3D is taking the market by storm. The orders that were booked during the CEDIA Expo make it clear that it is the must-have technology of 2011 and will be featured prominently in dealer showrooms all over the world. If the end user client demonstrations we conducted are any indication, our innovative dual-engine architecture with PreciseLight™ optical system (stylish passive glasses with no batteries!) will redefine what the luxury experience in 3D can be: 3D done right!

Setting a New Standard for 3D-at-home: The Award-Winning 3Dimension Series D-73d Projector

Runco is proud to announce the new 3Dimension™ Series D-73d projector. Winner of the 2010 CE Pro Best of the Best Award for 3D Flat Panel & Projectors, Runco’s D-73d delivers exceptional native 1080p DLP 16x9 performance for both 3D and 2D content that is superior to 3D televisions and public 3D theaters.

Using Runco’s proprietary passive glasses approach to 3D, D-73d delivers stereoscopic video reproduction that is unlike anything else in the home or private cinema market.
