When I was a girl, I had an extensive collection of paper doll books. I loved playing with them and I bought a few to collect. Like the Princess Diana one I still own and another of Nancy Reagan that I got on a trip to Washington D.C. with a school group. Years before that, I had a Fashion Plate toy (Tomy brand) that allowed you to create your own paper doll designs, complete with rub-on crayon patterns. I am sure I am not alone in these childhood memories.
